Developer Managers' Breakfast in Cape Town
Realizing value through the software development lifecycle "Only 30 percent of all application development projects are deemed successful." [Source: The Standish Group, 2006]. A select group of senior technology professionals were invited to the Developer Managers' breakfast events, to engage in a dialogue around the imperative issues faced by developer managers and the software development industry in South Africa.
Prof. Barry Dwolatzky Director of the Joburg Centre for Software Engineering (JCSE) at Wits University spoke about the current industry challenges and developments.
