The Block Chain was invented in the context of the digital currency, Bitcoin and can be extended to include other digital assets  .The Block Chain is an open, honest, accountable and auditable  public ledger of all the  transactions and it allows parties to transact securely in the absence of a third party intermediary . The Block Chain is distributed and secure eliminating fraud and error. It will speed up processes and lower transaction costs.
