
Software Testing in a Small SA Company

The following was discussed:- The findings of the survey conducted with all the software developers which contributed to identifying concrete problems. Two prevalent test process improvement models including TMM/TMMi, which could be used for improving the testing in similar companies. The "Non-awareness" and lack of use of the scientific literature on software testing reduces the ability of IT practitioners to identify possible solutions for these problems such as the ones detected in this case study. Making use of these options will be covered. About the Presenter: Johan van Zyl, is currently a software developer, working at a local Software development firm since 2005. Johan holds the following degrees, Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT),2005 UP, Master of Information Technology (MIT) 2009 UP, He has currently enrolled for his PhD.
