Barry Dwolatzky - Joint winner of the prestigious "South African IT Personality of the Year" Award in 2013, Prof Barry Dwolatzky is Head of Software Engineering at Wits University and a Director of the Joburg Centre for Software Engineering (JCSE). He has worked for over 35 years in the software industry in South Africa and the UK, and has trained generations of software engineers. Over the past two years he has been the driving force behind establishing a major Digital Technology Hub in Braamfontein Johannesburg, called the "Tshimologong Precinct".
