Dr Chuck Myers has been associated with the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) since 1987. After spending 11 years at the SEI as a full-time Senior Member of the Technical Staff, he established his own consulting and training company called "Integrated Process Solutions, Inc." (IPSi). He remains associated with the SEI as a Visiting Scientist.
Over the past two decades Chuck has helped develop and has taught many of the SEI's process improvement related training courses. These include "Introduction to CMMI", "Intermediate Concepts of CMMI", "CMMI Instructor Training" and "Mastering Process Improvement". To each of these he has brought his deep understanding of the CMMI model and the way in which it supports organisations working to improve their performance. Having taught over 250 officially sanctioned SEI process improvement training courses attended by thousands of professionals from dozens of countries, Chuck Myers is, without doubt, one of the world's leading experts on CMMI.
While continuing to teach courses for the SEI, Chuck also presents various CMMI implementation courses of his own design. He holds a PhD in instructional design and development, and these courses bring together his considerable technical CMMI knowledge and experience, his instructional design expertise, and his well-recognised ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
